New Kent Pediatrics is hiring a Medical Scribe! 

New Kent Pediatrics, an established pediatric practice, in Quinton, Virginia is looking for a medical scribe to join our team. Our team members provide high-quality and compassionate care to the children of New Kent County. Click here for more information on our practice.

Position Summary: 

• Creates orders for any further testing as directed by the provider
• Transcribes medical reports
• Ensures correct spelling of medical terms and other words
• Ensures correct punctuation and grammar
• Follows HIPAA policies at all times 
• Provides basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must have knowledge of medical terminology and conditions
• Handle patient information with compliance to HIPAA regulations
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Other duties as assigned
